Paris Paskel, LVT
Veterinary Support Team

Paris grew up dog-sitting for her neighbors and family friends and knew she wanted to pursue a career in animal health. Growing up, her only pet was a crawfish named Lily that she got from her 7th grade biology lab. She began to shadow and volunteer in various veterinary settings, including horse stables and small animal practices.
Determined to earn a four-year degree and become a veterinary technician, Paris enrolled at Fort Valley State University (FVSU). During her lecture classes at FVSU, she worked as a veterinary assistant at multiple practices and fell even more in love with veterinary medicine. As part of her final semester at FVSU, Paris completed a 12-week internship at UGA Veterinary Teaching Hospital, where she worked closely with Licensed Veterinary Technicians and doctors. Paris completed her B.S. in Veterinary Technology in May 2025 and passed the VTNE in August 2025, becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician.
She can't wait to grow in her career while providing care to as many fur babies as possible. During her time at UGA, Paris developed a strong interest in anesthesia and emergency & critical care, and in the future, she'd love to pursue a license in the anesthesia specialty.
In her free time, she enjoys going to the gym, playing video games, and spending time with her cats, Neyteri and Kiri.
